WATER AND FLOOD SENSOR

Our Water and Flood Sensors give you instant warning about leaks or flood conditions. As soon as the detector comes in contact with water, it signals an alarm. The transmitter apparatus stays dry because it's separate from the detection gear. Its signal transmission is wireless, so the alarm always gets through to the Control Panel.

Setup and Use

Put the Water and Flood Sensor anywhere that may be at risk for getting wet, like a basement or utility room. Depending on your house layout, you can put a sensor on the floor or on a wall (for high water detection) or both. We often recommend these sensors near a:

basement storm door

water heater

sump pump

washing machine utility room

Like all FrontPoint equipment, setup is simple. Just place the sensor on a flat surface, or use the "peel-and-place" adhesive to attach it to a wall.

Water can be extremely destructive. Avoid coming home to a flooded house. With FrontPoint's Interactive (or Ultimate) Monitoring, you'll get instant notification by email or text anytime water intrudes. Is a neighbor watching the house for you while you're gone? You can set up notifications for them as well, and remotely disarm the system to let them in!

The Water Sensors are particularly smart, with transmission gear separated from the detection gear inside the unit.
