In the case of the garage door, we mean it literally. Our Garage Door Sensor detects an angle of tilt as the door opens, and sends an instant alert to the Control Panel.

A well-protected home covers every point of entry. But with our Garage Door Sensor, there's another huge bonus. No more wondering if you forgot to close the garage door when you drove away!

Setup

The Garage Door Sensor monitors and secures your roll-up garage door, sending "opened" or "closed" signals to the Control Panel. It's specifically engineered to detect pitch (position angle). When the pitch passes 35 degrees, the sensor triggers the alert.

Place the sensor at the highest point on the top inside panel of your garage door. To attach, use either our high-grade adhesive or two screws. Both are included with the sensor. You need only one sensor per garage door.

Like our other sensors, the Garage Door Sensor works with our Interactive or Ultimate Monitoring Plans, for remote notification. We'll email or text you whenever the Garage Door opens or closes. Or, set it to act as a "non-alarm" sensor and then we'll notify you only if you left it open mistakenly. Our interactive mobile apps give you tons of customization options!
