FREEZE SENSOR

Burst pipes can mean a massive headache – damage, hassle and expensive repair bills. Our Freeze Sensors detect low temperature conditions and provide early warning, before the freeze. These sensors can alert you to other issues, too, like a malfunction in your furnace. An alert will reach you - and our Monitoring Center - if the temperature drops below 41°F.

Setup and Use

If you live in a region where temperatures dip below 32°F, you're probably aware of the threat of bursting pipes. Place FrontPoint Freeze Sensors in any area that's susceptible to cold temperatures, especially rooms with exposed pipes. Also cover areas that may be affected by a furnace failure. Simply peel the back off the mounting adhesive and place the sensor on any shelf or wall near the pipes. The sensor will trigger if the temperature drops to 41 °F. It will also send an "All clear" signal if the temperature returns to 50 °F.

With Interactive or Ultimate Monitoring, you can get emails or text messages alerting you instantly about conditions that could lead to burst pipes.

As with all FrontPoint components, the key advantage is that they're wireless. Wireless is safe because it can't be disrupted. Setup is a breeze, because you have no wires to connect. In addition, our sensors are portable. Adjust their location as needed, and take them with you to your next house.

We team with GE to give you the heartiest, most reliable equipment on the market. These sensors come with a 2-year warranty and 4-year battery life.
