Setup & Use
How It Works
The Wireless Pan and Tilt Camera works with our Ultimate Monitoring service and your home broadband service. Once you've followed the simple push-button instructions to connect the camera to the internet, it is available to you from anywhere.
You control the direction of the camera's lens, using your smartphone or any online device. It can pan/swivel up to 350°, tilt upwards to 90° and downwards to 35°. It's great for large rooms and interior spaces. You can even point it out a window to monitor outside areas.
For maximum convenience, customize the viewing positions for your property, creating automatic presets that you can reuse anytime. For example, pan the camera to point at your front door, and save that position as a "preset." Give it a name you can easily remember (such as "Front Door"). Next time you're monitoring, simply enter the command for "Front Door" and the camera will swivel around to show you the door!;
The live video feed is available online as well, in HD resolutions (up to 1280x800). Please note that since this feed transmits over the Internet, your personal video quality will depend on your available bandwidth and viewing device. Sufficient light is also required to produce high-quality video.
The camera generates a video clip anytime it detects motion. You'll receive notification via text or email. You can view the clips immediately and confirm that all is secure, or the portal will store them for you. We suggest selecting a lower resolution for archiving video clips. Video files contain a lot of data and you will quickly exceed your storage limits if you record in high resolutions. (You have 50 MB of storage space available to you at any one time, and up to 500 MB of monthly upload capability.)

Position
First you attach the antenna, by simply screwing it into the back. Then you connect the AC adaptor and plug it into a non-switched power outlet near your computer.
Next you hook up the camera to your wireless broadband router, so you can monitor video from your account on our online portal. On-screen portal instructions will guide you through the easy push-button configuration. There's nothing tricky. Specific, step-by-step instructions also arrive with the camera.
When you're done, simply place the camera wherever you think it will be most convenient and effective. It can sit on a shelf, or mount to a wall or ceiling. The camera maintains its online connection wirelessly. It does require a power outlet, but we provide a long cord, for extra placement flexibility.
